Finals and semi finals should be best of three I think, with the better record in the regular season having the home advantage for two of them.

Asif bowling with McGrath will be the most awesome thing of the cup IMO. That and Dravid and Kallis out there batting, it'll be hilarious whether those two have awesome partnerships or completely stuff up. The humour in the situation is great.

Will be firmly supporting Bangalore due to family ties on Friday night, but Kolkata's awesome video with Shah Rukh Khan is tempting me to support them for the hell of it lol.

Asif, Mcgrath, Sangwan, and Yo Mahesh with Lillee and Sekhar as coaches - doesn't get too much more promising than that.

after looking at all the 8 teams, I will be supporting Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur and Mohali [teams from the North-West] .... though all the teams have some of my favorite players so it's difficult to care in the end on who wins .... but yeah, Mumbai and Delhi would be the hot favorites

Can't say I'll be supporting anyone team, though of course that may change as the tourny progresses and an affinity with one side or another develops.
I'm not looking forward to this as much as a test series, but I must say it will be very interesting to see how players from countries go against their (usual) team mates.
From a purely selfish point of view, I'm also looking foward to more Australian players having exposure to subcontinental conditions (even in a shortened format). IMO it can only make them better players when we tour there in the future.

Haha yea, I've said previously that this could be the end of the Indian home advantage.

I really hope that's not the case, but playing for six weeks every year can't be bad for you, especially as these are the best players from each country and tend to learn very fast.
