Mathew Sinclair----Elton John & Kiki Dee - Don't go breaking my heart. Elton John is NZC. Kiki Dee is M.Sinclair.

Mathew Sinclair----Geto Boys - Mind playing tricks on me. (for the hip hop fans) The lyris are bit r18 but its easy to put Sinclair life into the song.

    Mathew Sinclair---Bowie & Queen - Under pressure.

Leave Sinclair alone boys; it's been done.

Really would have been much more apt if he was, for example, selected for the tour of England and averaged 90. As it is, he did break NZC's heart. That's what you get if you treat someone like crap though.

Inspired by Michaelf's Bee Gees efforts I thought I'd do a "Morrissey" list:

Little Man, What Now? - Geraint Jones
    Interesting Drug - Mohammad Asif
Last of the Famous International Playboys - Shane Warne
    Disappointed - Graeme Hick
You're The One For Me, Fatty - Colin Milburn
The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get - Mark Ramprakash
Used To Be A Sweet Boy - Michael Clarke
    Have-A-Go Merchant - Arjuna Ranatunga
    The Operation - Simon Jones
You Know I Couldn't Last - Andrew Flintoff
The World Is Full of Crashing Bores - Ian Healy's commentary efforts
I'll Never Be Anybody's Hero Now - Shoaib Ahktar

    Hmm...

NZC: don't go breaking my heart
    MS: I couldn't if I tried
NZC: oh honey if I get restless
MS: baby you're not that kind
Both: oohhooo, and nobody knows it
    NZC: oo-when I was down
    MS: I was your clown
Both: oohhooo, and nobody knows it
    NZC: oo-right from the start
MS: I give you my heart... oohhh-hoh, I give you my heart
NZC: so don't go breaking my heart
MS: I won't go breaking your heart
Both: don't go breaking my heart

Are you absolutely sure you didn't mean the other way around?

I think either way it woerks... it probably depends on whos pov you are looking at on the lyric side of it..

I think the song sums up NZC treatment of Sinclair ..right from the start I gave you my heart.. debut 215 runs.. yet when you were down NZC low on who to select.. they picked Sinclair yet treated him like a clown...

"When I was down I was your clown" doesn't mean that, though, does it? It means "when I was down you cheered me up".
