Doesn't matter whether you think they're overrated or not, with some of the mediocre quality of players that are named Wisden players of the year (because of their influence on English cricket in that year), Bedi and Qadir are significant names that missed out.

Bedi's average in the 4th innings of a Test match: 14.46. As far as I know, no one else in modern times has one that low in the 4th innings.

Obviously you are a fan of bowlers - has anyone looked into that, i.e. whether or not batsmen tend to be favoured for Wisden COY?
