Australian Domestic Off-Season Thread 2008

He likely to only play a handful of games, so it won't matter at all where he plays state cricket, as he wont play any state cricket. Unless ofcourse the selectors see the light and pick Bollinger. Wont happen though regardless of how crap he bowls, as he seen as future even though both are the same age.

I actually think, given the way he performed in the West Indies, he will need to play more than a handful of games in domestic cricket. Perhaps previously when he wanted to remain a Bull but live in WA, he was a little more entrenched in the Test team and thought he would be playing little, if any, domestic cricket.

Will be a good chance for Sullivan to develop. Johnson probably wouldn't have played that much for QLD anyway.

Sullivan having a good emerging series.
Noffke will miss the first part of the season as noffke will be in india.

Nah Bollinger should be next in line. The only thing in Noffke favour is his batting. But Bollinger makes up for it with his *** appeal.
Fair point re: Doug's stunning looks, but Noffke imo is the better bowler by far.

Wow at New South Wales best possible squad. Every player there has played for Australia, except for Hughes (however I have no doubt he eventually will) and Thornley.

However with 8 or 9 of them to possibly be away at a time, and unavailable, this will be a tough season for the Blues.

Also, just a quick question, is there any web sites with live streaming for the Sheffield Shield, and if you get Austar with Sport, do you get to see it, or just the One Dayers?

Frankly speaking MacGill should move on now and give chance to likes of Hauritz and Casson.

Anyways i seriously hope the Redbacks turn things around, because its almost annoying to see the kind of talent that is going to waste there atm, due to the lack of proper management, likes of Furgeson, Cosgrove, Cullen (both of 'em), Tait are all players with good potetial but they need to be handeled properly, which has not been happening for a couple of seasons now.

Btw what is Younis Khan going to add to the Redbacks side??
