I went by ODIs but most of the players i picked are pretty good in tests as well, with the exception of Zimbabwe and Ireland

I would pick Kennedy Obuya over Niall O'Brien 6 out of seven days a week. And on the seventh day I still opt for Ashish Bagai from Canada

I started a thread where you had to pick an XI with one per team a few years back, think there you were allowed to pick 2 from one team though. Seem to remember SS picking four Aussies because he refused to pick anyone from Bangladesh/Zimbabwe

Played quite a bit of his youth and early domestic career as an opener, IIRC.
Not surprising, so many did. Actually now you mention it I seem to remember hearing about the two once opening together in some game or other. Grant continued in the position for far longer than Andy tho.
