This year we have three Oxfordshire players in the Bunbury squad for the first time ever - this is my 2010 side coming of age (see previous posts).

This week, one of these boys is making his debut for Gloucestershire 2nd XI (he is 1* overnight with the task of saving the match against Glamorgan ahead of him) whilst another made his debut for Oxfordshire's senior side, making 109* in a win over Herefordshire to possibly become the youngest ever centurion in the history of the Minor Counties Championship.

Future's bright.

Today we have two lads from the Oxfordshire system (Charlesworth and Ward) both playing for England U19, live on Sky Sports. A long journey, and one that’s still only really beginning, but everyone in Oxfordshire is hugely proud today.
