    England retain the Ashes

I'm surprised no English member created this thread. The England women's team retained the Ashes after beating Australia by 6 wickets.

I was there on Saturday and took some photos too.

    Well done England.

From the photos there looked a decent sized crowd but also looked freezing.

Good photos. I especially love the indepth research that went into the captions "England Player", "Australian Bowler" etc

Go England. One thing we don't suck at is Women's Cricket.

I think it's just that actually.

Nice to see England win at something. But is there any point in just a 1-Test series?

    A 1-Test "series", ITSTL.

Either way, nice to keep hold of them for another time after winning them for the first time since, what, 1963 in 2005.

Well, it's 3 years before there'll even be the first possibility of seeing it.

    What about self-deprecation?
