How good is that prediction that "worse is to come" regarding Gilly adding to the Ashes woes of England at the hands of Gilly (barring 2005 of course).

Do it nowadays (I'm looking at you Dhoni and Michael Clarke) and you look ridiculous.

Yeah that prediction is really amazing. One more thing that came into my mind is Tendulkar made his debut around the same time(in 1989) and is still playing while Gilly made his debut after 8-9 years and is already retired while Tendulkar is going to play for another few years.

People(that includes me) dont realize how hard it is to play international cricket for 20+ years and how much harder it is performing at the top level for entire time.
