Christ Bangladesh... didn't see that one coming, we were pretty competitive with South Africa over at there place recently. A bad day all round for us, and a good day for the Saffies.

Why is this thread not a sticky ? The U-19 World Cup has been going on for over a week ...shouldn't this be a stuck at the top ?

SL v NZ today ....NZ may progress to Semis....both teams pretty even, IMO

Not a good start for us so far. These Pakistani bowlers are making the ball talk right now.

Good to see a few up & coming all-rounders returning to the NZ U19's. There's been a few years where we've had none but specifically Anderson and Morgan look good while Southee could end up being useful like Vettori.

In big trouble here 35-4 in the 12th over. Pakistani bowlers looking solid. Raza and Rameez look very fast.

Australia are struggling at 75/7, however the pitch looks to be cracking up quite badly..Pakistan will have to battle hard I reckon.

NZ 132/3 after 34 overs. Hopefully they can get up to 220/230.

NZ reach 213 from 49.5 overs. I have no idea whether thats a good score but it seems from other matches that anything over 200 has been competitive.

Southee and Boult destroying Sri Lanka. They're 44/4 after 10 overs.

Does India get to play NZ or Pakistan in the semis? Hopefully the former, I'd love another Indo-Pak clash in the final.

To have a chance we'll need to bowl first and let Southee and Boult loose. Reckon they could inflict some major damage but our batting has been a bit fragile.
