Good to see Samiullah in the team.. i still think that Roa, sohail Tanvir, yasir Arafat and kamran akmal shouldn't have been in the team..while they should have rested Younis and Yousuf..

Jamshed is better in the longer format of the game. I can see his talents being wasted opening in ODIs.

Well, it's 86/1. Zimbabwe aren't really out of it. They just need Sibanda to covert this start (which almost never happens; he's one of the best "start" batsmen ever) with some support during the middle of the innings and some fireworks from Chigumbura at the end.

I'm not saying they'll do it because they'll most likely lose, but I wouldn't say they were getting smashed at present.

They don't lack hitters down the order, though. Chigumbura and Taylor are big hitters. Williams can hit the ball a long way when he's in a good mood, too.

Also, you conveniently posted that after Sibanda got out despite him staying in and making a big score being a pre-requisite in my post to Zimbabwe having a chance. They're definitely out of it now.

They were never in tbh. Only time a minnow team can win is if they bowl first and bowl the other team out for something like 150. Here's it's like 350 they're chasing.

This is really stupid, going in with only 3 specialist bowlers. Not like you need batting all the way up to #9 against ZIM, so I guess Malik and Afridi will bowl the other 20.
