Well I know that actual talk of cricket seems pretty off topic in CC these days, but this thread may belong there anyway!

Look, I have no idea what you people are talking about

Anyways, with all the stuff going on in CC, I thought OT would be the only place one could discuss cricket around here

Meh, stupid things like SCGGate08 won't stop people who want to discuss actual cricket from discussing it.

In terms of raw runs, Ponting actually scored more than Hussey. Would not have guessed that off the top of my head.

Haha. One of those non test class games Australia had to really fight hard to win, and if it wasn't for a Ponting century just may have lost that match, therefore at least one of those two matches should count.

    I'm Green

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Indeed, the closest they came to losing during the streak was that Fatullah Test.

It's the team in the long-term, not the one-off of the match, which counts to whether the game should be a Test or not.

No, it wasn't, the closest they came was the 1-wicket defeat of South Africa.
