Symonds - bowls outswingers as well

When I saw him bowl seam he bowled someone with a stupidly big inswinger (very cloudy day, white ball) which was a full toss too.

ohh and with a batsman like lehmann, as well as an ok bowler you also get a batsman that averages 65+ with the bat, which i would say makes up for any downfall with the ball - and in OD he bowls pretty economically and averages about 50 i beleive.

Nope, about 40 in OD and 55 in 4D. Averages in mid 40s with the ball in 4D and 30 odd with the ball in OD.

I think Warwickshire are looking for a spin bowler, not an "allrounder" that gives the ball a twirl on occasions.

So, depite everyone's efforts, no-one can find a better option for Warwickshire than Daniel Vettori, although I believe Age is now going to list the entire Erinsbrough under 14 3rd XI next, as surely one of those is a spinner!

Vettori may not be the best world class spinner available, but he's mature & a great team man & he'll be good value for the other Warwickshire rookies.
