Andre Adams bowling stats this season are just ridiculous. 29 wickets at 8.27! Can't believe I'm saying this but get him in the test side

(Before I get laughed at, remember how well he bowled in his only test)

He'll be used next season when he's lost all form and he'll fail as a result. Thats what happened with Papps.

Bell still carving it up - perhaps going for some milestone.

    265 out off 327.

IIRC thats his second or third hundred this season. Whats he like as a one day player? Papps has been fairly average in his return to FC cricket so maybe have Bell, Cumming and How as the options for Bangladesh?

Why? He's only 30, you can argue the same reasons for not picking Adams and Cumming. If he's scoring the runs then he's worth a look and he also has more experience now. Batsmen generally peak at 28-32.

Na if Bell deserves it more than any young guys right now, give him a shot IMO.
    Direbirds FTW!

Lots of batsmen start off crap and turn out good. We seem to discard openers too quickly here. Horne and Spearman being prime examples. Bells improved his technique according to commentators so I'd give him a shot if he continues this until we play the bangers.

Fair call.. he can't do any worse than Papps. It would be a negative call though. Might as well call back Bruce Edgar

We should have been proactive and cloned him when he was in his prime then done a bit of plastic surgery and hey presto! We have an opener. I swear Australia cloned McGrath, they called the clone Stuart Clark.

Mate, if you could clone Edgar, Wright and Turner you would have a pretty good player.
McGrath bored the tears out of me his entire career..... sorry Aussies

We need a Cairns-Oram hybrid. That would be something. Shane Bond mixed with someone unbreakable would be good too. Screw the academy lets ust clone people for the spots we're weak in.
