Which makes me think, can mods get banned? I think Gelman said something about banning James for a joke once....

Mods can indeed be banned - kinda defies the point tho. Mods are supposed to not do stuff that merits a ban.

In fact, any account except the Administrator one can be, UIMM. Including James' account.
