I will do a series of polls, 1 for each test playing nation (now including Zim and Bangla + a combined associates poll) to see who you believe is the best all rounder of that country. I will then place all of the poll winners in another poll, to determine who the worlds best all-rounder is.

This poll will end in 1 week.
Next Poll: Pakistan

The division of vores shows that NewZealand have either five all rounders or none

International Captain
Oram's bowling just doesn't cut it anymore to be frank. Therefore I went for Styris.

If it was based solely on tests, one would have to look at Vettori IMO. Since 2003, Vettori has aveaged 39.20 with the bat (incredible), and 34.93 with the ball.

In ODI's, since 2003 Styris has averaged 37.33 with the bat and 30.22 with the ball. Very sound figures IMO.

Of course, stats don't say everything, but they go a long way to convincing me that Styris and Vettori have been the best performers in the all-round dept. for NZ in the last four year cycle.

Not Terrible
Not bad, is it? Let's see if he can sustain that for a three-four year period.
His batting is fantastic lately and will probably get even better. His test bowlings always been rather good, ranked quite highly by the ICC I believe 12th? Not sure.

Underrated in tests.

i remember at test last time NZ toured Aus where Oram scored a century against us and Ponting was thrown off his game because he took it to our bowlers because of the fear he instilled in them Oram gets my vote

craig mcmillan is that a little bit of a joke lol, he had/had skill but wasnt nearly consistent enough imo, however he did at one stage own the best porno mo in world cricket:laugh:

State 12th Man
I would say Oram, even though in the Twenty/20 form of the game his bowling is definitely below his standard. He is beginning to develop his batting to become more consistent and it would be good if his bowling returned to the standard it was in 2003/04 home series against South Africa and Pakistan.

Voted for Franklin as his batting technique and ability in my book is better than all but Styris and McMillans. His bowling is genine lethal strike bowling in tests and I suspect will improve that ODI bowling. Styris and McMillan aren't really allrounders, Oram's bolwing does not cut it at test level, and I'm rebelling against the trend and going for the underrated guy.
