I called it in the official one day thread a week ago. Pretty much a shoe in for sure, I don't really mind if we aren't giving the best batsmen in for enough time, Hopes opening is a great move.Hopes must be eyeing off the ODI opening spot now that Gilly is retiring. Doing himself no harm here really.
And with that post, Casson gets Rogers LBW, His best match for us so far. Can't wait to Malinga and co own Hopes.
Bollinger already has two wickets, including Langer. Fair knock from Casson, starting to get some form back with bat and bowl. Always good to see Bracks hit a couple sixes.
Just following up from this, if these two games against South Africa and England had been considered FC games, then Pomersbach's record would read 940 runs at an average of 78.33 and strike rate of 81.10 with four centuries and four half-centuries in just 10 FC games.Pomersbach to make a big one. Such a gun, was having a look at some of the non FC games he's played against touring sides etc. Amazingly talented.
Both of those games were played before he even made his FC debut too. It's a surprise they waited so long to give him a crack.Just following up from this, if these two games against South Africa and England had been considered FC games, then Pomersbach's record would read 940 runs at an average of 78.33 and strike rate of 81.10 with four centuries and four half-centuries in just 10 FC games.
Still get the feeling he has to do a bit more to get ahead of Hilf, Tait and Noffke to even make a Test squad.Another Dougie 5Ffer. Is the little brown bag he got with his baggyblue ready to be opened?
I think he'd get picked before Hilfenhaus if there was a test tomorrow and Johnson, Tait and Noffke were all out, TBH.Still get the feeling he has to do a bit more to get ahead of Hilf, Tait and Noffke to even make a Test squad.
Yeah but when it comes to a touring squad, they generally pick guys who they feel are long term options. Not saying Bollinger can't be a long term option, but Hilfenhaus would still be ahead of him in that catergory.I think he'd get picked before Hilfenhaus if there was a test tomorrow and Johnson, Tait and Noffke were all out, TBH.
Tait been in ok form this season, one poor Test doesn't push you that far down the list.Hilf would now be behind Noffke and Bollinger. Also reckon Tait has slipped behing Noffke now.
Bracken one-fer.
Yeah, it does.Tait been in ok form this season, one poor Test doesn't push you that far down the list.
