First test for Dutch gals, this when New Zealand have stopped playing tests.

Go Holland!

Holland will struggle IMO, there batting wont cope against the South African seam attack.

If they make the Test last 4 days I think that will be a good achievement, hope they get around 500 people to the Test to create a little atmosphere.

Yeah I got seriously bored watching what was meant to be the best women players in the world when England played Australia in a 20-20 match. The falseness of the commentary when some idiot said 'Crikey! She's really cranking up the pace here, that one was nearly 60mph!!' got pretty tedious, as is people scoring at 3 rpo for 50 overs.

Haha, yeh the commentators must put the wool over their eyes and imagine what they're watching is good.

Not meaning to be offensive to women, but England's female side would get absolutely hammered by pretty much every ECB organised league team in the country.

So? Why should they have to be compared to the men anyway? Jeez, I guess our blind cricketers ought to pull the finger out too, they'd be humiliated against most ECB organized league teams!

So the commentators shouldn't try and pretend that the cricket they're watching is acctualy of a good standard, which is what i was responding to.

It's all relitive though.. A good time for a paralympian shouldn't be ignored because it's nothing compared to your average able bodied 100m runner..

Well it's all opinion isn't it? Just as most people would rather watch the Mens able bodied 100m, most people would rather watch a mens match rather than a womens one.

That's a different case though, athletics isn't a skill game like cricket, the enjoyment in watching it comes from the competition between the atheltes.

In a skill game like cricket the ability of both sides EDIT tbc

You seem to be talking about run rates rather than skill though.. Im sure there are plenty of women slow bowlers who would be very hard to get away, but just because its not 8 an over with plenty of sixes, it gets rubbished..

It gets rubbished because basically, it's boring. End of.
