    To summarise, then:

We have a distinct lack of quicks
Hoggard's got some semblance of form back
    Rikki Clarke's no good
Chris Read is England's #1 keeper

We don't have a lack of quicks, they're just in the senior ODI side, despite not being one Day players for their counties!

I reckon that will have done Hoggard the world of good, a lot of overs, very tight bowling...

    35-13-70-5 is superb...
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

You can't judge players on one match. You can't just say Rikki Clarke is no good after a couple of failures. Give him a chance. Chris Read is a fine keeper though.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

    He plays for Surrey, though...

He's picked for some reason as an all rounder when his bowling is not at all good - the batting has shown some potential but it needs work before it's classed as international class.

But that still doesn't make him no good.

And mine as well - playing for Surrey is a major boost to a players International career.

The selectors have realised that they couldn't dare give him any more chances!
