You know you are obsessed with cricket when...

Not sure what you're watching because "that" ball by Dale Steyn to Michael Vaughan is their at 1.05. Has to be just about the best ball I've ever seen. Maybe the Waqar yorker or the Wasim ball to Croft would come close.
Go to youtubs and watch some Asif specials.

No batsmen in the history of the game could have played that ball.
Not true, it was a brilliant ball but Vaughan makes every ball he gets bowled by look 100 times better than it acctualy was, just look at the amount of times he's out on the video to see what i mean.

When you read the bit in the new Harry Potter book that says "James and Lilly Potter died here in October 1981" and you automaticaly think of Headingly and that test.

Whatever it takes!!!
I do most of the stuff mentioned here.

And it is not just the late cut by the way, the cover drive and the pull happen pretty frequently too.

When you start rolling around or juggling the apples, oranges or mangoes or whatever that you have in your hand the way Shane Warne or Kumble or Murali spin the ball up and down before they bowl it.....

When you start remembering years and events that happened in that year (outside cricket, obviously) based on some cricket events that happened in those years.... Like how 2001 will always be abt the Eden test for me and 1999 will always be abt that Lara series and 2005 will always be about the Ashes.... It doesn't matter that you graduated junior high with 80+% in 1999, graduated high school with 90 in 2001 and graduated college with 75 in 2005..... Those won't be your first memories of those years..... :)

When you have planned to call your son "Brian" and are seriously searching the internet to somehow convince your folks that it is actually a "Hindu" name.... Even though Sachin would work. ;)

When you have met and have autographs of and pictures with a total of over 200 cricketers while you are a teenager.

When you have over 600 cricket magazines from the past 15 years before you started watching cricket.

When you have books from over 50 years back on the game.

When you play for whole days (and nights!) in the back yard.

When you have over 100 stamps on cricket.

When you can watch any match on tv or any where else as long as it is cricket which is being played.

Adding on to this, whenever you go past a cricket game being played, you turn around in your seat if you have to just to make sure you see at least one ball bowled.
Haha yeah. When you also think of stopping the car and taking photographs of such matches.

You know you're obsessed with cricket...

when just before going to bed, you say 'Well, that's stumps for the day'.

when in bed, you ask the missus if she wants to remove the bails and 'ave a bit of 'leather on willow'. :naughty:

You know you're obsessed with cricket when you pretend to read your 2 months old Cricinfo magazine, that you've already finished, in the company break room just so people could ask you about cricket.

When on the day Bradman died, about 20 of your friends phoned you up and asked in hushed tones..."Are you ok?"
