    The Statistical Grotto

Yesterday, one of my year sixes showed me a graph he'd made of all the innings he'd had this season. It motivated me to see if I could put together something similar.

It doesn't have the fancy team-by-team colour coding of James' effort, but I think it's interesting nonetheless:

This, presumably, is career rather than season.

Also - why is this in CC not CH?

It stretches back almost nine years - innings one was in July 1998, against QEGS Horncastle.

This season starts with innings #40.

Not many batsmen can say that they have (nearly) doubled their average from around the mid point of their career. So well done.

    Harsh.

Don't think I could do mine, didn't write down the scores from the season before last.

Made a solid start to your career Neil, two runs from 6 innings.
