So we're better now... but not by a massive amount IMO. And let's not forget we could quite easily have won 4-0 (as could NZ) in 1999, even though NZ were clearly the better side.

Pffftt... the Tests will be replaced by an extra couple of ODIs and a three-match Twenty20 series, just you wait and see. The NZ management doesn't believe in separating colours and whites when they're doing the laundry so they've stopped buying the white gear.
