Victoria are the surpise leaders as the Pura Cup reaches it Halfway point. New South Wales are second but have a Better squad than Victoria so my Money is on them to lift the Pura Cup. Queensland alos have a Strong side and will be in the top 3 at the end of the season. Jason Arnberger has impressed with the bat for Victoria this season, Could a Call up be Likely?
Brett Lee and Damien Wright have Impressed with the ball, Lee Destoryed England in the Third Test.
South Australia,Western Australia and Tasmania (Who without Ponting are poor) are In the bottom three
ING CUP
New South Wales are currectly Leading the Table with 13 points. They will be full of confidence after beating England, they have a Great Chance of doing the Double. Tasmania Are Surpisingly Second so it looks like they have a better one day side? Victoria are Third but two victories in a Row and it could be anyone title, it is that wide open.
Greg Blewett and Jimmy Maher did the World Cup chances No harm as they are the leading run scorers, World Class one day batsman Michael Beven is Third.
In the Bowling Department Former Australian International Joe Angel is Joint Leading Wickettaker with Unknown Rookie james Ropes whop is Playing his Second Season of First-class cricket, He has a Great Bowling Average and looks a Good prospect for the Future
Australia are Currectly the best team in test and One-day cricket and the talent that is left in Pura/Ing Cups it is not hard to see why.
