Mark over Steve Waugh?
Mark was one of the best ODI openers in the world, and indeed, after 1997 until his retirement averaged highly.


Steve, on the other hand, while a very fine ODI player averaged less than those others mentioned. While his extra all-round ability and captaincy would be handy but, IMO, I don't think he's worth a place in the 97-07 side.


90-00, he'd be one of my first choices.
