I would like that but its only two teams in the ashes so they can reschedule easier.I would prefer they change the WC tbh
There's talk of England hosting the World Cup in 2014 as well...Thing is, they've now rescheduled the Ashes in England to 2014, which will most likely clash directly with the football World Cup. Good job, ECB.

If FIFA still continues with the rotational policy, which is still yet to be seen.2014 is going to a south american country.
But that's the problem with having the Ashes in even numbered years - it will clash with something. Had they brought it forward to 2012 it would clash with the Olympics - which definately are coming here.Thing is, they've now rescheduled the Ashes in England to 2014, which will most likely clash directly with the football World Cup. Then keep the home series when it was and move the series in Australia - either way they're still one and a half, and two and a half years apart. But that's the problem with having the Ashes in even numbered years - it will clash with something. Exactly. Why on Earth they remotely considered moving the home Ashes from an odd-numbered year I'll never know. Then keep the home series when it was and move the series in Australia - either way they're still one and a half, and two and a half years apart.
But hang on, Sepp Blatter said Australia was being considered. You mean - we can't believe what FIFA tells us?2014 is going to a south american country.
