because you guys don't have your stars playing for Ireland in friends providence.......kenya are trying to get a first class domestic tournament going, Ireland should try and do the same once they get some money but they should also ask the ICC to help them but for that to happen they need to have a impressive presentation for the ICC to watch .

I agree, but the sooner some sort of First Class competition is implemented, the sooner interest would get to a level that merits having a decent competition IMO.

Not really. A First-Class competition is a result of sufficient interest, not the other way around.

You're not going to drum-up extra interest by playing domestic-First-Class cricket. No-one, anywhere in The World, gets much attendance for that.

yeah, may be start with a twent20 competition and than one-day competition and then move on to first class but that's not the main thing for the first class, it's for the players getting better at that and skills that could be applied to one-day cricket which is the way to get interest.

There is a One day competion but it doesent even get coverage in our local papers,not to mind our national press!!!!
