be interesting to see what they look like at the end of the season, seems to be pretty bowler dominated so far.. though its supposed to take catches and captaincy? into account as well. Has anything like this been attempted before?

Only in the cumulative points MVP one, the ones where the points are averaged out per game are far more useful for relative ranking of players.

I do. And I don't think he "chokes it", because to choke you have to have the ability ITFP.

maybe he is number one at trying to kill second slip. you never know he might push the boundry and try and kill third slip.
