Shirt Numbers

Not sure if this has been done before, probably has knowing my luck... but I'm trying to put together a list of all numbers and all the players that have used them. Right now, I've got... well, nothing really, just the numbers off the top of my head such as 7 for Fleming. So bring 'em on and I'll edit this post with them as they come in. I'll keep single digit numbers and double digit numbers (ie, 0 and 00, 6 and 06) seperate.

Ashwell Prince wears 5+0 on his shirt. The Australian guys can all be found here although I could've told you off the top of my head that Gilchrist is 18.

No worries, I'm not sure whether the other countries cricinfo sites have the same section or not. Might be worth checking out.

Cheers, all added. I've gone through the Aussie list too, now, and left out the Aus 'A' only numbers along with the numbers of player which, according to Cricinfo, never played an ODI.

Note that Wasim Akram was also 1 during the '99 WC, but so were a couple of others. I usually go by the shirt numbers after the '99 WC as they seemed to take it more seriously.

EDIT: You forgot to add Yousuf. And Razzaq isn't spelled Rassaq as far as I know.

All the captains were 1 in the 99 World Cup, and the rest of the squad were numbered alphabetically by family name I think.

I see. Although I'm quite sure either Ijaz Ahmed or Mushtaq Ahmed were also 1.

I'm pretty sure Tendulkar is 99.

Are you counting the '99 WC when the squads all wore 1-15 or just their regular numbers?

Nathan Astle used to wear 6 didn't he? Also I think Symonds used to have a number in the 30s before he changed to 63.

I don't think they were. Because Shane Warne wore 5 and Martyn wore 15.

All fixed / added.

EDIT: I won't count the '99 WC.

EDIT: Tendulkar is 10 according to his latest photos on Cricinfo. Astle was 9, and Symonds was once 39.

Oh right.

I know NZ was like that though, Fleming was 1, Allott 2, Astle 3....Vettori 15.
