Well that's true, certainly, but there's no way they could be said to be at the same level as the tri-nations teams as of now. That's probably down more to demographics & economics than any lack of enthusiasm for the sport. Off the top of my head I can only think of two Papua New Guineans (?) playing at the highest level now Bai's retired: Costigan @ The Raiders & Stanley Gene @ Hull KR.

ICU should just send some more hot Irish chicks over to Australia and instead of getting them watching Grade Cricket, they should just watch FC cricket. Watch the quality of Irish players increase by ten fold.
