I may have left the 5th bowling option exclusively with Sanath J there.

I would have Vaas in for Agarkar, Dhoni in for Nazir if you were looking to win this game. I'm too lazy to make my own XV, so I'll just criticise yours

Does Dhoni open batting ? Between Vaas and Agarkar , I would go for Vaas elsewhere(outside India) , but since the games will be in India I have chosen to go with Agarkar.

I seriously have issiues with these kind of games getting odi/test status. It's not the same thing as when your repping your country. I would like it if the icc introduced something like all star/exhibition status and the games would count as that

Can't see how Dhoni would be picked ahead of Sangakkara either as a keeper or batsman, except because the games are being played in India, where Dhoni appears to have a good record as a batsman. But as a Keeper and Batsman Sangakkara is well ahead.

Dhoni has had some sucess batting higher up the order, he could probably replicate that form for these festival games. I would always have Vaas over Agarkar, he is by far the superior player.

His ODI form hasn't been too bad actually, and seeing as how the three games being played are ODI's then it would be folly to use his form as an excuse for his omission.

I'd prefer Sangakarra over Dhoni aswell, but I think Dhoni could probably find himself in the team as a specialist batsman.

I would definitely pick Malinga over Asif or Vaas and Sangakkara over Dhoni .
Can't really see Shoaib Malik coming ahead of Ashraful or Chamara Silva. (but if you are picking him as a bowling option perhaps.) But I see you have not included a single Bangladesh player in your team.

Inclusiveness of all nations is important and IMO Ashraful and Mortaza are worthy considerations for the 15 .
