Marlon Samuels

Eclipse

International Debutant
What a brilliant innings by him in the deciding ODI vs India.

This kid has some real class.

Gotchya

State Vice-Captain
The timing of the innings is what made it great. In the middle of the match, he walks in and blazes everything. Needless to say if it hadn't been for this knock, West Indies would not have posted such a daunting target. A few batsmen in this line up now who can play match winning innings.

Quite a few plusses for West Indies in this series (apart from clinching it), Sarwan, Samuels, Gayle and that new lad (cant remember his name) who took four wickets today. If these three or four guyz shine in the world cup then West Indies should perform well.

Lawson...Jermaine Lawson...and he played in the Test's so he shouldn't be so new...

It's only Lawson's 4th ODI...

And Samuels, the 2nd fifty came off 22 balls.

The guy's starting to fulfil his potential.

Lawson looks like a good prospect while Samuel is a brilliant player.Overall it has been a very good series for the Windies, they can certainly do well in the WC!
