My Maiden 50!

Yes! After 8 fruitless years of searching, I finally hit my maiden half-century. 62 To be precise. An innings which was predominantly leg-side against some fierce bowling. I hit a six, coming off a beautiful straight drive which goes down as one of the best shots I have ever played. Took a quick single for the 50 and celebrated wildly, much to the bemusement of everyone. Finally dismissed on a hook shot, and it was caught. Earlier I top-edged as i fell back, brilliant shot.

Just want to keep bragging for a bit, ive worked dead hard for this 62. Honestly, Ive been on the beach, in the living room, front yard, backyard, driveway. Hell, I even played in Derbyshire i was so desperate. But Ive found my favourite pitch now. I think this 62 brings my average up to about 3.00 now
