Best of The Best

Shahid Afridi Award for (Best post of the week) Like an innings by the great man, it does not have to be very long, to be great viewing. And the Winner is: Fusion for this click here Well someone had to say it :(

Shane Warne Award for (Best thread of the week) Like his bowling it must be interesting but just like his private life it can also be controversial. And the Winner is PhoenixFire for this click here , Richard may protest, this is his theory :@ :D

The Skull Award (Funniest poster for the week) Just like the king of the one liner Kerry O’Keefe, can also be serious. And the Winner is: steds click here  No Greigy but plenty of quality humour, with special mention to BoyBrumby for this: click here

The Sobers Award (Most varied poster of the week) The true all-rounder of CW you must be able to contribute to a number of threads. And the Winner is: Richard , visits most threads, and seemingly has an opinion on all that he reads

Tony Greig Award (Worst prediction of the week) Will he ever live down that ‘We will make them grovel’ prediction re- the West Indies? And the Winner is: no award this week

Inzamam Award (Vaguest poster of the week) We are not sure what he is talking about, but we hope he knows. And the Winner is: marc71178 for this click here I awarded this one this week, SBI seems to understand it, but it makes no sense to me!

The Sir Geoffrey Award (Most knowledgeable poster of the week) We were going to call this the Richie Benaud award, but after speaking to Boycs, he assured us he new twice as much as Richie. And the Winner is: aussie tragic , great knowledge, and keeps the site ticking by creating interesting debate. Even though we all know that Bradman was a much better captain then Hammond :p

The Bradman Award (Overall CW poster of the week) Simply the best no matter what the debate or criteria. And the Winner is: No award this week

Agarkar/Mohammed award for ('At least their trying' award)
just like the players this award is named after, they may not be quite good enough for any other award, but at least we remember them. And the Winner is: McKanga for this click here Like a dog with a bone, will just not let go

The Mike Hussey award for best newcomer (less then 500 posts), not too many have had a great debut and continued success like “Mr Cricket” And the Winner is:
DCC_Legend Only time will tell

The Gatting V Rana award for the best debate of the week, and the winners are: Social V take your pick The Gibbs ban it involved two threads, so no link

***NEW*** - Saj Award for best rant of the week (following Saj's outburst after the 3rd Test, and no Saj, we don't know what you were doing out there either, it's a sad indictment on the quality of our reserves: And the Winner is: Richard for this click here Richard is back and not happy with certain threads, and on which forum they belong. I thought it had to be funny to be on CH?

Please remember, these awards are not officially endorsed by CW management:)

Good spot, chap...
I should take the rest of CW to the cleaners with this award, surely...

SS has had a couple of 1000 posts per week, so you have some comp.:)

Tomm NCCC

International 12th Man
Good to get my first 1,000 up. Still going to try and win a proper award. One day, perhaps.

shortpitched713

International Captain
What, did ss and tec have one of said things sometime or something?
Nah, its just you guys are the two most prolific posters in the history of CW (barring marc, and he doesn't tend to do those sort of things), and it would probably be very interesting to watch.

The Wheel is Forever
Nah, just prolific in the last two months. I think during the month of December, I had 4200 posts. But now my new semester has started, so I've tapered off (by my standards :p).

I don't do tapering-off...

I just do "there" and "not there".

And every time the next "not there" comes around some poor fool thinks it's perminant this time...
