Ive had a lot of bats in the past. Nowadays I think its hard to get a bad one (if you have a good look and spend enough money), so its really all about fashion and preference.

For myself, as I now sell them  , it has to be MRF

last season Summer '06 was my first season playing cricket. I bought a cheap Slazenger SXI for around £40. Was a nice bat considering the price!! getting an SXI pro for my birthday!!!
Good work mate. :) Does your team have a website?

Love my GN to bits, even if it`s rubbish. Has served me well. Kookaburra Kahuna or Beast are awesome, but I`ll go with GN.

Not for me as I get them at cost or below

There is a new one coming to SA (maybe out elsewhere already) called the Slash that has the thickest edges Ive ever seen and is a specialist OD bat.

Very cheap compared to the Lara or Tendulkar and Im thinking of getting 1 for myself

Well, I get all my stuff from Gray-Nicholls, but I prefer the Newberry stuff as a whole. Makes you look like you mean business, smooth style and great bats.

Can't go past Gray-Nic's. Quality bats, made to last. Slazenger is the only other brand I've ever bought, also very reliable if you treat them right.

County's can be pretty awesome cheap ones, too.

Yeah, Newbery's are quality, too. Really need some looking after, tho. Always wanted one, gotta fork out a bit more for the reliability there.

I have used Slazenger's, MRF's, GM's and am currently using a Gray-Nicholls Fusion I have found the Fusion the best and would recommend it to anyone.
