Don't care tbh (as opposed to the heaps of people that want to see them in Australia). The fact that they could be destroyed in transit is a pretty strong argument for leaving them in England.

it should stay in england 1 because EBC doesnt even own it MCC does and 2. something could have to it(get stolen, get destroyed, ect)...it should be like its now....a crystal replica of the the ashes....and even if the MCC were to let it travel than it should be in a bulletproof glass box so it stays preseved....

yes im aware of that but people are saying the fragile of the "trophy" when travelling, but its just another reason for keeping the ashes in australia besides the fact that they are dominating , they have won the ashes

It should stay at the winning nation. I mean if it needs to go to another country than have someone holding it all the way.

They are?
Yeah, they're on tour in Australia. From the CA website:

The original Ashes Urn is being exhibited around the country this summer as part of this summer's cricket festivities. The tour marks only the third time in history that the Ashes Urn has left the MCC Museum at Lord’s and the first time it has ever toured around Australia. Many of the other exhibition’s artefacts are being exhibited away from Lord’s for the first time.

The Ashes Exhibition in association with Travelex has been designed to coincide with the upcoming and highly anticipated 3 mobile Ashes Series.

Yeah, they're in Australia at the moment doing a tour around the country so Aussies get a chance to see the urn.
yes but the aussies should have to wait for a tour of the urn to see it, we have won this series 4-0 maybe 5 thats a pretty good reason for keeping them here

I wouldn't mind that. What are they ashes of BTW, I've heard different things from different sources.
its said to be the bails from the test in august 1882 which australia beat england but ive heard other things that it could be ladies viels, bails or stumps from another test

no one knows...what the ashes is of but its most like the ashes of a bail or ball when england 1st lost to the aussies, right?

but its only the 3rd time its out of england...so it shouldn even be traveling.....why cant you aussies be happy with the crystal replica....oh one ? is the urn in a glass box or something right now(touring in australia) to keep it preseved...or can people touch it...?
