scores from todays BC game!

well it was a sort of fine day in warrnambool today 25th of dec 2006 MERRY XMAS!!

so it started with me my younger sister (very good might i add ad cricket) and my sisters boyfriend.

Scores: 1st Innings: Dave (me): 17
James (sisbf): 37
Chelsea (sis): 22
so at the end of the 1st innings i NEEDED to make a big total for them to chase.

Scores 2nd Innings: Dave: 37
James: 39
Chelsea 26

yes i ended up coming last

Great fun though, i also think i have possibly the BEST bc ground in australia, i will post pics asap.

but for tomorrows game its gonna be even HOTTER COMPETITON!

good luck aussies on boxing day test!!!

Dave

Top work. Nice to finally hear of a Backyard game that doesn`t end with the person winning by miles and taking hat-tricks to back up their 700* in four minutes.

Not being a smart arse.

The quickest Under 11s I've seen in the UK push the 100k mark; girls about 10k below that... neither of which can really ever be classed as quick (unless of course you're 12..)

haha sorry man, naa she isnt THAT fast but shes very quick for her age on a level of backayrd cricket, and somebody whos never played a game of competitive cricket.

She only started bowling about 4 months ago, and she loves it, but loves batting more haha.

we normally play a modified game wher she gets 3 wickets in hand because of her age, and i get one.

it goes very well and evens up nicely!
