theres allways the chance of Ian Bell coming in against Zimbabwe next year...PLEASE SELECTORS PICK HIM!!!
As a Warwickshire I think Troughton would deserve it more, and he's also a left hander. Also, as he bats at 6 for us, he'd be more suited to that role than Bell, who comes in 3 or 4.

Because Giles is one of the main reasons England never win...you can't win if your specialist spinner is coming out with returns like 45-13-108-1. I'm just hoping a young bowler comes along before the next Ashes series...or Schofield or Jason Brown wake up...

It all depends what job said spinner is doing - Giles is frequently asked to do more of a holding role, hence he bowls long tight spells.

When he looked like attacking in the summer he was quite dangerous (until Nasser changed the field every ball and he couldn't settle)

Fair Point...Nasser and Spinners should never mix  Other than that hes a good captain...

That's a good point by Marc, Giles does all the hard work to annoy the batsman who then takes it out on the other bowler(s), who gets to pick up cheap wickets.
