geez... what a great man for our team... i will miss him a lot ... his strokeplay was the best in the world when he was on songwe need more classical strokemakers like him!!! who will come in? Jaques i think.. Watson still injured |

Hmm, last innings could've been better. Ah well. Congratulations to him on a fine career, and he's done well to ensure that he's not remembered just for the Test against SA in '93/'94. Key to Australia's success in the sub-continent during 2004. |

A wonderful server of Aussie cricket has just retired.... :-\ From all cricket geez... what a great man for our team... i will miss him a lot ... his strokeplay was the best in the world when he was on song..we need more classical strokemakers like him!!! |

Wow. Such a shock. Overall, a very, very fine player but was under pressure anyway. But it's good he was able to finish on his own terms, even if he didn't go so well in his last test.

Im happy, and I'm sad.
I'm sad become he had a great career and was fun to watch. I'm happy becaus this will start the end for Australian Cricket, with the rest of the old players retiring in about a year or 2. |
