New to the site and wondered whether you cricket lovers could help me.
I have found some old cricket autograghs and bits in the loft and want to know if there is a place in the UK where I can get them valued.
Your help would be appriecated.
Yeah exactly. I don't think ebay is a particularly good measure of the value of particularly rare or significant items. Certainly if it's just a poster you got signed by McGrath at the cricket you'd be fine putting it on ebay, but if it's something genuinely rare I'd have it professionally valued and then look to sell them at auction, where you'll have a better cross-section of potential buyers and certainly get a better price.Lillian Thomson said:"Some old cricket autographs" is too vague to be able to offer help. If they're Derek Pringle and Phil Edmonds they're worth squat, on the other hand if they're WG Grace and Jack Hobbs they're too precious to risk on eBay and should be sold at a specialist auction.
May or may not be against the rules, is the problem with that.Nnanden said:Indeed, some people on here may be interested in purchasing them, so perhaps post links to them on Ebay, if that`s your chosen form of selling.
Nice chap, Mr. Saunders. I met him last year on my England tour.If you contact Christopher Saunders Books, he will be able to tell you
