Icon3 This guy really likes cricket

Edinburgh-born Allan Fairlie-Clarke, 31, sold his house so he could go to Australia to watch England play in the Ashes.

Clarke told English newspapers he had to sell his $240,000 home in Chelmsford, Essex, because after losing his job as an air-conditioning repairman it was the only way he could get to Australia.

He's divorced. But you probably already figured that out.

Anyway, he estimates his dedication to his team will cost him about $13,000. To put that in perspective so Canadians can understand: Think your average Maple Leafs fan. But less zealous.

Got nothing on Eagles fans. To get tickets to the superbowl, this guy jumped naked into a freezing water and swam a mile as part of a radio show promotion that gave out tickets. He made the mile, collapsed, and had to be hospitalized. He made the superbowl though, with an oxygen bottle at his side.

And he died two days after the superbowl.

All respect to the bloke, but that's just insane in the membrane.
