Ehhh, Sobers was more of a 'genuine' all rounder than Imran, considering he performed with both bat and ball in many series, whereas Imran usually was dominant with the ball or good with the bat, rarely both at the same time.

Eh...Sobers was at least as much 'genuine' as Botham. If you look at his prime with the ball and the bat, he had every bit as much effect on series as Botham.

The problem is that for the majority of Sobers' career, he was an exceptional batsman and a decent bowler (except for his prime where he was excellent in both counts). So people just remmeber the batting.

Botham was excellent in both counts for a while, and then he was rubbish for even longer. So people remember the excellent in both or the rubbish in both.

TBH, I am honestly bamboozled, flabbergasted, and stunned that Worrell made it in ahead of Compton, Harvey and Barrington - and it is a little sad that neither of these will make the cut when they should do so. Thats the problem with these formats...*grumble*

Therefore, I pick Miller, who along with Botham and Sobers is one of the three greatest genuine all-rounders of all time. Keith Miller ftw!

Very very dumb, in that case.
Anyways, this whole thing has been pretty dumb from the get-go. No sobers in 46-65 team = no credibility.
