Battles

Could someone please answer a few questions regarding battles for me, thanks:

i) Do I have to have permission from a moderator to start up my own battle
ii) Could someone give me a list of the battles that have been
iii) Can I make a battle that has previously already held again?

i) I don't think you need permission.
ii) If I remember correctly we have had Battle of the English, Australian and Subcontinent.
iii) You can, but there would be more benefit in doing something like the Battle of the West Indians or South Africans.

Now that I remember we did do Battle's which involved innings and then a different battle about bowling performances. Battle of the fielders would be quite good because of the contrast between guys like Jonty Rhodes and Mark Waugh, both excellent fielders but in different ways.

It wasn't that great, it was against a fairly poor New Zealand attack.

Dare I say "Battle of the spinners" is the obvious omission, ugly as it could get?

Take out Shane Warne and Murali and see who everyone thinks is the next best. That would be interesting IMO.

Also maybe the battle of the all rounders
