    Brian Lara's popularity in India?

    i have noticed one thing over the years that Brain Lara is very popular in India, are there any reasons for that? he seems to be even more popular then some indian players. Heck even most indian girls know about him and love him

    Yup, Indian fans usually love stars from a bunch of teams. I mean Bradman got more letters from India than anywhere else (including Australia).

    Waugh is immensly popular there too.

    Yup, Indian fans really become attached to their player. Look at Ganguly. Steve Waugh is immensely popular, and SRT is and Kapil Dev was out of this world popular.

    Yes, Warne is popular. Flintoff, I'm sure, as well. Especially with the ladies, as he's very good looking.
