I'll rephrase that to First Class, as in he can stull be effective in the four say game.
His first class record is quite decent, but it's nothing to suggest he should be in the test side over several better other candidates.

Lol @ Watson's innings yesterday.
Lol @ him still averaging more than Symonds in the series.

And what about his bowling! He was great yesterday with ball in hand.

He was alright with the ball last night. His over when he got his 2 wickets from where good, apart from that nothing too spectacular.

Lol @ you saying Watson bats well when given the chance to bat in the top order.

No-one bats well every single time they go out to bat. Watson still averages over 40 when he bats in the top 4 so my point still stands.

Watson will never bat in the top 4 in a full stength Australian team. It's great he can average 40 against the likes of Bangledesh but I doubt he can perform on the big stage (In finals, ashesh etc) as he prooved yesterday.

I don't think he's ever played an ODI against Bangladesh. If he has, he certainly hasn't batted in the top 4 against them.

I'm positive that he has played atleast 2 ODI's against Bangladesh during the Natwest series in England last year. He didn't bat in one of them, not sure about the other game though. But it's beside the point, the point is Watson chokes in the big international games.

Watson has played Bangladesh three times but never batted against them.

I'd say the final last night was a "big international game", and he bowled as well as he's ever bowled. Obviously he got out pretty cheaply, but he did better than Ponting, and you wouldn't call him a choker.
