Can this be done by a team captain? As in calling the opposition player back if he is given out by the umpire???

In this video Kris Srikkant is given out LBW by the umpire and he feels he has gotten a very wrong decision and is quite upset by it. Imran Khan comes in and calls him back to the crease.

Can this be done? As in a team captain over-ruling an umpire's decision?
