No should show any emotion on a cricket field, especially disappointment. Think of the poor children, innocent until they saw Ricky Ponting viciously toss his bat several metres into the air, who will now ape his behaviour to levels not seen since the Great Lillee Disgust Toss epidemic of so many years ago, causing so many youthful aluminium bats to lose their temper (may their metal hearts rest in piece).
We're on the precipice of a previously unobserved slew of batsmen throwing bats in the air and now we know who to blame. Rick Ponting, hang your head in shame.
