Loving this series the CA youtube channel is doing. Such a shame Warne bowled the flipper less as his career went on, produced the most embarrassing looking dismissals.

Haven't fully watched it yet but how good was Gilchrist in that first one? Read the wrong un, collected it even though it kept low and went between bat and pad, then took the stumps out in a flash.

Been watching it too. Just different class. Test cricket missing some geniuses like him at the moment.

Haven't seen the Andrew Jones dismissal since I watched it on TV 26 years ago. Judging by the comms he did exactly the same setup as with Cullinan & Stewart; give them short balls to hit for four beforehand and deliberately to set them up for their downfall.

Re: the famous Chanderpaul dismissal, for years I was like Ian Chappell on commentary wondering why Chanderpaul went back to that delivery. It wasn't until I saw Warne go through it in detail and how it actually curved away in the air from the batsman how brilliant the delivery was.

Interesting, that Richardson and Walsh were probably the only two players playing at their peak in that side. Although I recall Greenidge getting a double ton in that series just shy of his 40th birthday.

The batting had weak spots but Richardson was at his peak and virtually all.of the others contributed at some stage. The bowling attack wad still top class; iirc all the four bowlers shared the wickets equally like Oz in 17/18.

I'd forgotten how glorious Tendulkar's offside strokeplay was in this series.

Rob Moody has done the impossible and posted on Twitter footage from 1st and 5th Tests Tests from the 75/76 Windies tour of Oz.

Hope he uploads this to YouTube in good time.

Sweet. The 5th/6th tests are the rare ones where Viv opened the batting.

If Rob somehow manages to get footage of the famous fredricks ton, oh boy.

That's off the British Pathé site which has some bits, I think from the ABC highlights. I found them several months ago of course. You can actually see the Pathé player at the start of each video.

I just came across footage of the last test of the famous WI vs Pakistan 88 series on Youtube a few days ago. Some great bits in there, especially Wasim clean bowling Viv, Pakistan not getting what looks (even from this grainy video) a plumb lbw and a little disappointingly, only the aftermath of Qadir punching a west indies fan.

Ali Bacher's brilliant in conversation series for SA cricketers and international one's is really good tv. The Doc is just a cricket fanatic so he has all the questions.

Watched Shaun Pollock and they spoke about his career and The Pollock dynasty. Great viewing. Hope it gets on to the Tube.
