Current players [on current form] making any side

The Wheel is Forever
OK, this thread is for the best players in the world today. Counting their recent form (say the last two years) , which players would make any side? If you nominate a fast bowler, he'd have to make the current English side (which isn't as hard as it was in the Ashes, but you get the point).

So name a player, and also name the player that he'd replace in each of the top test nations (Bang and Zim excluded). Its your choice to use sides at 'full strength' or the side that played the last test match.

I'll start off with Rahul Dravid:

Pakistan: Faisal Iqbal
Sri Lanka: Dilshan
New Zealand: They play test cricket? (Fulton)
South Africa: Rudolph
West Indies: Chanderpaul
Australia: Hodge (Does he still play?)
England: Collingwood

India @ Home: Kaif
India @ Away: Harbhajan

In fact, I don't think Warne would displace anyone besides a pace bowler if you were playing at home.

Agreed.

PS : My post was more about England then Warne. Others were incidental :)

Trescothick...seriously,

Sri Lanka - Vandort
India - VVS Laxman
Australia - Damien Martyn
Pakistan - Faisal Iqbal
Windies - Darren Ganga
South Africa - Jacques Rudolph... Or AB de Villiers
New Zealand - Dunno, not in touch with my new zealand side.

Tresco? I'd love for him to be our opening batsman. It'd solve half of our opening problem.

Don't known if that was meant to be funny, but it made me laugh

I didnd't really think Tresco could make any side, but looking at your list....I can't really disagree with any of that.

I notice that Shahriar Nafees and Javed Omar are excluded.

You'd have a tough time convincing an Aus supporter that Tresco is a better option at 4 than Damien Martyn...

Ajit Agarkar How come no one has mentioned this superstar?

With his all round skills he could replace at least two players in each side.
