I was wondering when that was going to be broken. Aftab`s bowling action =

Bangladesh now doing their best to stuff up a basic run-chase, currently 68-4 with Saqibul and Farhad at the crease.

Excellent stuffs from Farhad. Both Farhad and Sakib are the great finds for Bangladesh.

25.6 Ababu to Farhad Reza, SIX, down the leg side, BANG, Reza lofted drives on the front foot, sends that miles high and long to deep wide midwicket
25.5 Ababu to Farhad Reza, FOUR, good line and length delivery, Reza driving, stand and deliver, stands tall and he drags that from the off to long-on
25.4 Ababu to Farhad Reza, FOUR, line and length, Reza drives it away full on the off, square drives to cover point, and he is now in a rush
25.3 Ababu to Farhad Reza, FOUR, good line and length, Reza drives the ball through the off side, sweetly timed to long-off this time
25.2 Ababu to Farhad Reza, FOUR, length but down leg, Reza drives it away to long-on and the crowds wishes are being answered
25.1 Ababu to Farhad Reza, no run, line and length, Reza drives on the front foot to cover

 Ababu - the man who caused so much pain to those who bought Cricket 2004, just had 22 runs taken off his over. Justice has finally been served.

They seem to be losing faith in Javed Omar, and Ashraful shouldn't be opening. Looks like either Rajin Saleh or Nafees Iqbal could be tried again. Shame most of the batsmen at the fringes (Farhad, Saqibul, Tushar) are all middle-order players. Maybe if someone like Nazmus Sadat or Uttam Sarkar (:)) can perform on an upcoming academy tour and make an early impression in the NCL they might push themselves into the reckoning.

Possible World Cup squad:

1 Shahriar Nafees
2 Rajin Saleh
3 Aftab Ahmed
4 Habibul Bashar
5 Mohammad Ashraful
6 Farhad Reza
7 Khaled Mashud
8 Mohammad Rafique
9 Mashrafe Mortaza
10 Shahadat Hossain
11 Syed Rasel

12 Tushar Imran
13 Saqibul Hasan
14 Abdur Razzak
15 One other bowler or all-rounder

It largely depends on form as to who the batsmen are - I can see any of them (save perhaps Bashar unless he has a shocking run) being dropped.

Javed Omar is a good player, but maybe should be kept for Tests. We saw a bit of him in England last year and he hung around in both Tests, but didn't seem to have a lot of shots. That looks quite a handy attack actually. They've come on a lot from the time when all their bowlers were averaging over 50 (well over, in some cases) in Tests - Manjurul Islam, Enamul Haque senior and the like. But am I right in thinking they don't have a Test before the World cup?
