When did eight ball overs change to six ball overs?

Does anyone know when eight ball overs changed to six ball overs in ODIs? I'm needing to know for a project I'm doing.

I've give a 100MB Cricket Mail account to the person who can tell me when the last eight ball over ODI was :)

From Wikipedia: Over (cricket).

So that makes the 1978-79 season in Australasia the last with 8-ball overs. As there were no ODIs (WSC excluded) in New Zealand in that season, the last ODI was probably

5th ODI: Australia v England, MCG, 5 February 1979

Edit: Australia v West Indies, 27 November 1979 the first ODI following season, had 6-ball overs.

They changed to 8 ball overs in Aust. as part of the deal with Packer and PBL,(more add breaks) I was a young boy of 12 and remember no one was happy with the change.
