Wonder when I last did this?

I might as well say something like: G Smith, Strauss, Shah, Pietersen, Duminy, Nash, +ABdeV, Flintoff, Vaas, Mendis, Muralitharan.

Sidebottom excluded given he's currently dropped. Will be back when he's back in the England Test team. Clark ditto as he's currently injured. Pakistani players not included as Pakistan don't play Test cricket. SA, WI and England the only teams included as they're pretty much the only teams I've watched recently. Except for the specialist bowlers as there's virtually no-one I much like from any of those teams currently, nor from India or New Zealand (Franklin is currently out too). That basically leaves me with Sri Lanka's attack.

Furthest from consideration: Daren Powell, Nathan Hauritz

Though maybe being captain and wicket keeper is too much to ask of Iain O'Brien.

This is a good team.

I'm a bit worried at the openers' susceptibility to the new ball. You can only defend with your nuts so many times before it starts to hurt even the steeliest Iain O'Brien.
Plenty more O'Briens were that came from.

It'd be tough to defend 50 every innings though. Yet the opposition could be demoralised by the sheer ballsiness of team O'Brien.
